Employment

PDHD accepts applications for employment upon the advertisement of a job vacancy. Vacancies include the job requirements and duties.  Application must be made to the Human Resources Office by the required deadline date. Nursing positions are an open register and applications are accepted on a continual basis without advertised vacancies.

Health Department employees are governed by the Local Health Merit System Personnel Regulations.  Job application must be made through the PDHD Human Resources Office.  Eligibility for applicants will be determined by the Local Health Merit System in accordance with state regulations.
